Our mission at sports camps St Andrews

The goal of this camp is to allow the youth to discover new sports they have never had the chance to practice before, while also developing essential skills such as mutual aid, teamwork, and camaraderie. These camps are usually held over a week, but participants are welcome to join multiple sessions featuring different themes and sports. During their downtime, participants can relax, bond with their peers, or even enjoy activities like board games, or for older youth, try fun online games like play free slots with no downloads to unwind between intense training sessions.

The well-being and safety of the children is, of course, a priority for the organizers of this summer camp. That’s why sportscamps-standrews-com has surrounded itself with experienced professionals in the field of sports activities, along with competent and qualified staff, to supervise the participants in the best possible way. On this website, you will find all the information you need about St Andrews Sports Camps, including general details, the sports featured, and the excellent facilities available to make this summer camp a memorable experience.

Where is the Sportscamps St Andrews located?

This summer camp takes place in Scotland, in the town of St Andrews, a small coastal town located only a few miles from Edinburgh, a beautiful city in the southwest of the country. These courses take place every summer in the middle of the University of St Andrews, on the facilities usually reserved for the students of the university. If you wish to go to these courses, several means of transportation are available to you.

Indeed, you have the possibility to reach St Andrews by plane, by landing in Edinburgh, or even in Glasgow, the Scottish capital. For Edinburgh, shuttles are set up especially for those wishing to go to the surroundings of St Andrews. These trips are available 24 hours a day and are done by bus. For Glasgow, the easiest way for newcomers is to take the train. The nearest train station to St Andrews is Leuchars. It is only 10 km from the university. You can also land at Dundee airport, which is less well known but only a few minutes away from the camp.

Where to stay during the Sportscamps St Andrews ?

During the St Andrews Sports Camps, the participants are all housed in the same place, which will make it easier for the children to bond and avoid boredom. This idea of bringing the kids together allows them to discuss, share, mix cultures and of course have fun! For the catering, breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners are of course included in the total price. However, the children participating in the camp and living near the University of St Andrews have the possibility to eat and sleep at home, the accommodation and the food being in no case an obligation.

For those who wish to visit the university campus during the summer, whether to visit the area, spend time at the seaside or accompany their children, you have the option of sleeping directly on site. Indeed, during the summer, you can take possession of one of the university rooms, transformed into personal residences during the summer. In addition, there are many hotels in the vicinity of the camp.
